Major Snagg is the invented name of the 'band' that perform all my own musical creations. (songs and instrumentals). I play guitars, bass, rudimentary keyboards, harmonica, and sing. Melody has always been important to me... lyrics and guitar solos have to say or communicate something. I create musical worlds that I hope that you dear listener, will also want to explore and live in for a few moments...or longer if you feel that way inclined.

Story behind the song
One of Macca's loud rocky songs from the very beginning of his 'Solo' career after The Beatles
Lyrics
Oh woman, oh why, why, why, why, why What have I done Oh woman, oh where, where, where, where, where Did you get that gun, Oh what have I done What have I done ? Well I met her at the bottom of a well (of a well) Well I told her I was tryin' to break a spell (break a spell) But I can't get by, my hands are tied Don't why I ever got her to try myself Cause I can't get by, my hands are tied Oh woman, oh why, why, why, why What have I done Oh woman, oh where, where, where, where, where Did you get that gun, Oh what have you done Woman what have you done Well I am fed up with you lying cheating ways (cheating ways) But I get up every morning and every day (every day) But I can't get by , my hands are tied Don't why I want her to try myself Cause I can't get by, my hands are tied Oh woman, oh why, why, why, why What have I done Oh woman, oh where, where, where, where, where Did you get that gun Woman, what have I done, What have you done What have I done

Great cover of a not-so-well-known Macca song! I much prefer your vocals to the original which I felt he over sang quite a bit. These vocals are just right & you've got the power & expression without going over the top. Excellent job on the guitar & the production is first class

Not forgotten by all of us. LOL! This is a brave song to take on given those non human PM vocals ... I like how you have made it your own. Musically its excellent and your vocals are very good.. Very good cover....top to bottom.. Nice.

Just listened to the original and I got to say I much prefer your version better than Maccas high pitched screaming ! Much nicer on the ears . Also prefer the heavier rock guitar sound . So all in all a great version and improved over the original . No easy feat ! Great work David !

David, Your vocals are amazing.....Magnificent Guitar playing. Your version is so-o-o much better than the Mecca. See, you truly have great talent that you were born with. Be proud, my friend.
